Carolyn’s journey to founding Integrity Dentistry was inspired by her upbringing as the daughter of an F-16 Air Force fighter pilot. The discipline, integrity, and strong work ethic instilled in her by her father shaped the foundation for her career and vision for Integrity Dentistry. These values are reflected in every patient interaction, as Carolyn strives to empower patients, prioritize transparency, and ensure compassionate, personalized care.
Her experiences as a dental hygienist and national consultant exposed her to gaps in care—rushed treatment plans, inadequate infection control, and impersonal experiences. These observations motivated her to create a practice built on transparency, compassion, and innovation. Hi, I’m Dr. Kimberly Wilkins and we are glad you're here.
I grew up in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky and attended college at the University of Kentucky. From there, I went on to dental school at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry and graduated in 1994. After that, I went into private practice in Nicholasville, Kentucky.
I then moved my practice to Lexington, Kentucky and in the early 1990’s, became the first female dentist to place dental implants in my practice. Since then, my interests have branched out to cosmetic dentistry and facial esthetics such as administering Botox and facial fillers. I enjoy all aspects of General Dentistry including fillings, crowns, bridges, dentures, periodontal therapy, implants and cosmetic dentistry. I am a member of the American Dental Association, Kentucky Dental Association, and the Bluegrass Dental Society.
My passion for dentistry started from loving to go to the dentist growing up. While in undergraduate school I attended HCOP, the Health and Careers Opportunity Program at the University of Kentucky. It focused on students interested in Pharmacy School, Dental School and Medical School. It was there that I found out I truly enjoyed working with my hands while providing dental care. Improving patients dental care while creating beautiful smiles keeps my passion for dentistry going after 30 years!
I recently moved back to my hometown of Lawrenceburg. I am married with two children. I have a dog and a grand dog. In my spare time I love to bake, walk, read and attend continuing education classes. I love that Dentistry is full of new technology to learn about and enjoy caring for all my dental patients!
